Biography

I was born and raised in rural southwest Minnesota. Farming has always been a big part of my life. I graduated from Southwest MN Christian High School. I married my high school sweetheart, Darci, and we have 5 children.

I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Wellness at the University of Sioux Falls,

and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Creighton University in Omaha. I obtained a Master of Science Degree in Nursing, specializing in Family Practice, at South Dakota State University in Brookings. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

My work experience includes Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Labor & Delivery,

Med-surg, ER and Hospice Care, where I provided empathetic and compassionate care in Christ throughout the different stages of life.

I enjoy spending time with my family, farming, listening to Christian music, being outdoors and watching or participating in sports. Leading youth group at church and coaching junior high basketball has also been a joy for me over the years.
